Bah. Still feel lousy today, all manky and hormonal, which is not the best way to go into what is likely to be a very busy weekend away with the family.

Still. I'm only in work for the morning - just long enough to sort through the post and deal with whatever needs dealing with for the Pembrokeshire recruitment process and then I'm going home to pack. Leave Cardiff at about 6pm, and arrive in Crowborough around 10pm. Hopefully straight to bed...

Tomorrow we're all going to Chessington World of Adventure, as Chelsea's birthday treat - the culmination of birthday season. Six adults to one child is a good ratio, no? Then we'll return home on Sunday.

Dad still hadn't had his car back as of yesterday, so it's still up in the air whether we'll be travelling in that or the courtesy car. And Chelsea has finally had her appointment at the hearing clinic - they were meant to send for her in January; it's now May. So now, after all this time, they're terribly concerned about her deteriorating hearing and the fact that she needs hearing aids again but the ones she has are years old and don't fit - which was already determined back in December and why they were supposed to send for her in January. So she's got an emergency appointment for Tuesday to have new moulds made. She hates the idea, of course. They are also talking about those very tiny digital hearing aids, but since they cost £500 she would have to promise faithfully to actually wear them.

Our poor girl. No wonder she's been so frustrated and fractious lately.

And the Big Sis, Deb, and her husband Ray, have had their first appointment with an adoption agency. This is just the preliminary stage - they will see a few different agencies and then chose one to go with. But they are definitely setting the wheels in motion.

Dark Angel DVD viewing has now hit season two. Young Jensen as Alec - so much fun. *G*

Okay, that's it for Friday - back online next week!
